What Participants Say About Their Transformative Experiences

One of a kind

It never dawned on me how relaxed and calm I would feel after my therapeutic art sessions with Pam.

As a grief counsellor, I understand how beneficial art therapy is for my bereaved clients and caregivers, but I never thought I could also benefit from such a simple, mindless, yet uplifting activity.

The moments spent engaged in the work that Pam carefully designs and arranges for participants are like no other. It is a moment where I can collect the pieces of myself, to regain my focus and ability.

I greatly appreciate the thought and method behind each therapeutic art session I have with Pam and I look forward to more in the future. Thank you; I deeply appreciate all the effort and time you have spent.

The therapeutic art classes have truly changed my life. I feel more connected to myself and my emotions than ever before!

I feel a lot better now. I really love doing art, and painting with Pam is my favorite. It’s different from other art classes.

When my grandfather passed away last summer, I was so sad but I couldn’t cry. I felt all my feelings stuck inside me.

My mom had the best idea and took me to see Pam. In Pam’s studio, with the gentle music and her soft voice, I finally felt safe. The tears just started to come out while I painted. I put all my feelings onto the paper, and my tears mixed right in with the paints.

I have a collection of these special paintings. I keep them for when I visit my grandpa’s grave, so I can show him what I’ve made. It makes me feel like he’s still seeing my art.

Thank you, Pam, for helping me.

As educators, we never stop learning, and attending Pam’s art sessions has become my essential refuge after a stressful week.

Her therapeutic approach is like yoga for the soul, providing a calm and soothing way to pamper and love ourselves. Through each stroke and pattern, we refocus our attention inward, shifting our care from others to ourselves.

For that brief, precious time, we become the focus—a rare and deserved moment where the world orbits around us. Time flies in Pam’s sessions, and I only wish they could last longer.

Frequently Asked Questions about Therapeutic Art

Find answers to common questions about my classes. Contact me for more info!

What is therapeutic art and how does it work?

Therapeutic art combines creativity with mindfulness to promote emotional healing and stress relief.

What is the difference between therapeutic art and art therapy?

Therapeutic art involves creative activities that promote relaxation, mindfulness and self expression, but it is not clinical therapy. This is what I teach for every class, not art therapy.

Art therapy is a professional mental health practice led by a licensed art therapist. Sessions follow psychological principles and have specific therapeutic goals.

Are the classes suitable for beginners?

Yes, our classes cater to all skill levels, from beginners to advanced artists. No art experience needed.

What materials do I need for the classes?

We provide most materials for in-person classes, but you may want to bring your favorite art supplies. You will need to prepare your own materials for online classes.

Not feeling the spark?

Your creative journey should feel inspiring and nourishing. If, within the first 7 days, you find the course isn’t resonating with you, I completely understand—and I’ll happily offer a full refund. I believe deeply in the healing power of art, and I want you to feel truly supported every step of the way..
